He's a poor defender, and he's average (at best) going forward. Only problem is, who plays there instead? I can't think of many other right backs that realistically might get a call up for England who'd be any good.

when he played for chelsea he allways seemed ok
when playing premiership games but was allways left wanting
in CL games as he could never up his game.
