DONCASTER Rovers stars ditched their famous red and white kit in favour of their birthday suits – to raise cash for children.Players and backroom staff took part in a photoshoot with a difference to prepare a charity calendar which will raise cash for the NSPCC.Players including striker Billy Sharp, and midfielders Martin Woods and James Coppinger, took over RA Imaging on Silver Street to pose for the pictures.Club spokesman Steve Uttley said: \"The players leaped out of their comfort zone for the shots, which saw them wearing a lot less than they will be on the pitch.\"He said the players used a range of props – including linesmen's flags, footballs and scarves – to cover their private parts! The charity calendar forms part of a major year of fundraising for the children's protection charity.Next June, a group of players from the club will be raising cash for the NSPCC by embarking on a gruelling once-in-a-lifetime trek through the Andes mountain range in South America.James Coppinger, Mark Wilson, James O'Connor and Wayne Thomas will all take part.Details of when the calendar will be available for sale have yet to be announced.
