Overlooked on here was the passing of the great Blake Edwards the other day. Along with the late Peter Sellars, they created some of the funniest films ever with Sellars portrayal of the bumbling Clouseau.

Forget the b*ll*cks that Steve Martin has had the audacity to make, just watch Sellars at his finest as that 'idiot Clouseau' as Herbert Lom said.

Ni mind Clouseau. Edwards also got Bo Derek to bare one of 80s Hollywood's finest pair of chebs on the screen.

Of course, yes, it was snowing in London, so all the news was focused on how evil the white stuff was.
