Best Christmas/New Year for me was when I was in HM Forces serving in Belize. Christmas lunch in the Mess then shorts and t-shirt on, section LandRover to the harbour, hired boat to take some of us to a DESERTED island in the hot sunny Caribbean (30 deg C)with a bar-b-que and loadsa beers!!!

and yes, it was a very small island with just 10 palm trees on  it and white sand. Then snorkelling in the crystal clear waters. Aahhhhhhhhh, fond memories.

Merry Christmas fellow Rovers. I have the sand and sea but would love to be home in Donny right now. f**k I miss it at this time of year, sell the sand to the Arabs, give me Doncasters fine earth any day.

I did well today, had chrimbo dinner at the in-laws and I managed not to upset anyone with my toilet humour. Usually offend the sis-in-law and she usually f**ks off with the arse on.

I hate christmas, the price of fuel, people, my family (that's my actual family not the sit com) and I hate it when I've stayed up to watch cricket and it starts feckin raining.

P.S. On reflection, I also hate the sit com My Family.
