If you won the lottery...
« on January 10, 2011, 04:10:50 pm by jucyberry »
What would be the first thing you would buy?

Now I know you will all say a top goal scorer or something football orientated, so as  that is a given, it's  not allowed on this thread....

Me I would buy the biggest drum kit I could find and a set of lessons. one thing I have always, always wanted to do is play the drums...

Music has to have a noticable drum beat for me, I guess I'm quite a primative creature because I love that pulling thud of a drum as it thuds into my chest.

So what is the object of desire that you have yet to get......?

Jucy, I'll leave the gutter stuff to Cussy and Nudga, you've given them plenty to go at with this post, but if you get off on pulsing thuds into your chest, it isn't a drum kit you need it's standing at the side of a forest track whilst a Lancia Stratos flies past at full chat.
Feels like you've been wired to the national grid... bloody awesome!

I'd give half to the RSPCA because I hate seeing dogs run around on their own in the middle of the winter, and I'd spend the rest on a nice car, nice house and just pay everything off. Big f**koff stereo system and mackoff TV too :-D

Give a lot to my kids, so they dont have to worry about where the money for the bills is coming from, which helps them have a stress free life.

Pay off everything owed. See my daughter sorted. Help my friends do the same.

Enjoy doing things I want to do normally classed as hobbies, like watching Rovers and fishing.

Firstly, haha.. you know what I mean, there is nothing like the drum beat.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NO_fx1WshCA

This is what prompted the question.. The fantastic Cozy Powell.

Whilst you probably had air guitars I always had a set of air styx....

As for the ammount, well if we are to dream we might as well dream as big as we can, so let's say the Euro millions..  :)

Ahh well if it's a big Euro Millions win then obviously i'd pay off everything.

Now my dream is to build my own house on a large area of land, then build a purpose built facility for the Mustangs where we can train & play all our games...

Small stand (about 500 seats), state of the art field turf pitch, changing rooms big enough to house 2 teams, weight room, bar and lounge for functions, offices to run the club from, new playing and training equipment....the full 9 yards.

If the whole KMS facility was built for £32m, i'm sure I can sort my dream out for less.

Oh and a big Iron Maiden gig to open it   :)

If I won the euro lottery, let's say £30 million, then I would buy a nice house somewhere and travel the world, amongst other things

average euro is £12 million.

for me the list is LONG.

number 1, quit my job, pay off debts, then families debts...
2. either buy a big house somewhere with a LOT of land or build my own in the middle of nowhere - must have room big enough for snooker table.
3. several supercars
4. then onto the \"little\" things like my own go cart track in the back garden etc...

Best drummer I have ever seen live and I've seen a lot. Bought my wife a drum kit for £125 and some lessons 3 years ago, she now has a £3k Pearl kit and should be in a band.

I can also tap a nice rythem on yer forehead wi' me pink oboe.

Seriously though, i'd buy £12mil worth of scratch cards. And a new anus cos this bas**rd is shot to pieces. Oh and a black baby, always wanted one of those, ya know like Angie and Brad. Then i'd buy Sheff Wed and Sheff Utd, amalgamate the both of them for a couple of seasons then make them insolvent, or sell them to Uncle Ken.

• How many drummers does it take to change a light bulb?
Five: One to screw the bulb in, and four to talk about how much better
 Neil Peart coulda done it.

• How do you tell if the stage is level?
The drummer is drooling from both sides of his mouth.

 • How can you tell a drummer's at the door?
 The knocking speeds up.

 • What's the last thing a drummer says in a band?
\"Hey guys, why don't we try one of my songs?

 • What do you call a drummer that breaks up with his girlfriend?
 Homeless.

 • How can you tell when a drummer's at the door?
He doesn't know when to come in

I'd buy my very own contract killer. I'd have him/her on tap. And I'd have just the MOST immense fun in the world re-modelling everything to how it should be. Now, who should be on the list then?

I'd buy Sheffield united. Don't know what I'd do if I got 4 numbers though.

Amazing .... whilst not wishing to admit to anything I am just about to put a set of 5 Black drums and 2 cymbals on E-Bay

I had wanted a set since the age of 11 and all I will say is the opportunity arose a while ago to make that wish come true

However I learned quickly that I could not and never would be able to play \"like a real drummer\" so they are off on E-bay for £100 in case you are interested *

* At that price you could win the half time draw and have £250 change

Cheers JT

Bob. You ever read \"Complicity\" by Iain Banks? There's a character in there that's a man after your own heart.

He goes round bumping off t**ts who deserve it (a newspaper editor who has wrecked hundreds of people's lives with his gutter-press stories, an ex-Tory ministers who claimed our policy in the Iran-Iraq war should be to ensure that as many as possible on both sides die, and helps arms companies sell them the means to do it, a shipping tycoon who had some of his ships scuttled for the insurance, with the loss of hundreds of lives, a child pornographer, Ken Richardson...OK, not Ken Richardson). He does it in particularly grusome and apt ways in each case.

I loved every page of it.

And in the film version there's a nice scene of Keeley Hawes with her tits out. Perfect really.

No. I haven't Billy. Never managed to become a fan of Iain Banks tbh. Maybe it's cos I like something to be left to the imagination? Dunno. Still, I've had about 3 day dreams today whilst slumped over my desk - wondering just who would go on my contract killer list. It's chuffing ace fun. I might need 2 or 3 killers though. Will the prize money be enough?

Saw a story on BBC News yesterday wiittering on about the shooting in America. The prat of a reporter reasurred us all that this is the first time that any US political figure has been targetted since \"Oh. John F Kennedy\".

What?????????????? So Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy, George Wallace and Ronald Reagan all don't count then do they? Well, Reagan doesn't I s'pose, but for f**ks sake! So that reporter is now right bang on my list. Lazy, dim t**t. It's a f**king nation of regicides for God's sake.

Nice Bob, but sadly it seems to be true, which is why if I won the lottery I'd buy a house somewhere  - probably Italy, travel the world, pay off my bills and those of some family, and donate to charities -- some to help dogs and some to help people.  Also I'd go back to school to learn something completely different and for fun.

Hmmm, 'Course I'm not the one who wants to hire contract killers an all !!

If it's the cock end I'm thinking of, then I'll feight thi for the right to top him. He's a spunk bubble of the first degree and I feel deeply ashamed that a) my taxes are paying for his existence and b) he's representing my country abroad.

As for killing American politicians, surely the word would have been \"countryside\" if someone had takan a pop at Dubya.

Easy for me there are only 3 things,
1) Pay off the family debts and looki after them.
2) Amalgamate Blades and the Scum then gradually dissolve the club, having had the enjoyment of seeing the fans of SheffScum County fight out their own 'turf war' for the Kop at old Millmoor.
3) Buy a nice little island in the Adriatic or perhaps a place in Skopelos.

Apologies there are 4........I would ensure that I had booked Bob's and BST'S contract killers to sort those bas**rds Richardson and Weaver out and have their heads airfreighted over to my new place to put on the mantelpiece. Richardson's 'hollowed out' head would look good with a candle in it............natural justice for fookin about with our old home eh ?

Agree with everything - but = Skopelos when you have just landed at the best Greek island is a wierd one ?

A mega Lottery winner would go for Skiathos surely and eject all the tourists and have the 66 beaches to themselves !
