Ticket sales for Portsmouth!
« on February 08, 2011, 12:14:23 pm by DonnyRTID »
7276 home fans, disappointing to say the least, what with the £30 Free Press family ticket offer and the Sun 2 adults for £19.50.

and as per usual, the standard response is \"nothings going to improve while the club aren't marketing matches properly\".

Shame really, the DFP is probably one of the best tools for targeting the Doncaster public and still people don't seem bothered.

I know the marketing of the club leaves a lot to be desired but I think we are going to have accept the fact that since the ConDem party have been in power doom and gloom pervades. People are very afraid to spend any spare bit of cash they have. That is the ones who actually have any spare cash!

And I thought that the poor tickets sales was down to the fact that we have not actually been playing particularly well recently, I really did not think it had much to do with politics and poor marketing - although the poor marketing doesn't help matters

Yep let's blame the ConDems for the lack of marketing and general disinterest from the folk of Doncaster.
This forum is becoming a vehicle for the Socialist Workers Party.....it's pathetic!

All of the above. I can't be arsed to keep running around asking folk \"Are you coming to Rovers?\"

\"Who are they playing?\"

\"Portsmouth\"

\"Aye, How much ?\"

\"To be honest, I haven't got a clue, but it'll be a good game !\"

\"Well normally I would but, wife's off shopping and I've got kids to look after. Too expensive to take kids with me.\"

\"There's a family offer on, 2 adults 2 kids for £30!!\"

\"There's only me and 2 kids\"

It's like pulling f**king teeth !!

What does the Socialist Workers Party have to do with anything?

I think life is great I love paying 20% VAT.
I am looking forward to my NI contributions going up in April
I am delighted to see the oil companies and supermarkets making record profits while I pay record prices for petrol and my food shopping bill goes ever upwards.
Let the banks keep paying record bonuses while my daughter struggles to get a mortgage.
Thank goodness she has finished at university.

Yes times really are great and why would any right thinking individual not be prepared to go without to go and watch Doncaster Rovers.

Theres always a queue before the game and many decide last minute so I'm sure there will be a few more than that.
