One thing you can be sure of. I bet if you follow the paper trail of some of this aide money in a few years time, it will end up in some mysterious Caymen Isles accounts, via some shadowy companies with offices in Mumbai, run by old school chums of Gideon and Cuddly Cammy.

Interesting that this isn't anything new, more a continuation of the labour government previous plans.

Britain is one of the world's biggest aid donors and the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition has stuck to the previous Labour government's goal of raising foreign aid to the U.N. target of 0.7 percent of gross national income by 2013.

Do we just ditch international obligations.

There's more to it than you think.  DO you really think India would be signing agreements left right and centre to buy British products without this?  Thought not.

The agreement to provide aircraft to India is worth 1.1 Billion alone and that's just one contract.  As ever, look at the bigger picture.

Which is, as ever, what the Daily Fail has failed to do.

No, No No! you can`t lay the blame for this at labours door, the coalition have sought to cut everything that Labour agreed to at home, the forgmasters betrayal is a perfect example, yet they ring fence foreign aid and then blame labour!

The Tories seem quite willing to ditch the Human Rights law of giving votes to Prisoners so why not?

There isn't any blame though because there's nothing wrong.

Now, find me something in Forgemasters accounts that says they couldn't finance that themselves.

If you think the Tories are mad giving £1bn to India over 4 years and I do - the labour party was giving aid money to the same country since they came to power probably totalling alot more than £1bn - It is not just that we also give millions to Pakistan which has a Nuclear programme the same as India - why do we give money to either country irrespective of which party is in power if these countries can afford either or both a nuclear programme and a space programme?

Charity starts at home and that £1bn should be spent in this country.

How can anyone slag the Tories off? In such a short period of time they have already:

1. Achieved record level of youth unemployment(according to todays news).

2. Allowed Bankers to continue taking the piss by awarding themselves obscene bonuses.

3. Vowed to cut the number of Police Officers

4. Already announced the closure of some prisons and vowed to reduce the number of criminals being sent to prison.

Not to mention the increase in VAT, & record fuel prices.

The futures looking bright isn't it? :(

 as depressing as that may be, the first line made it into a kind of sarcastic joke, which made me smile  something I haven't done all day! :)
