Match preview for this game now up on Viva Rovers.

Having predicted defeat on Tuesday I feel I should do so again...
0-1 nudge nudge, wink wink.

Watford can be a decent side. Hopefully it's one of their off days.

Otherwise...Watford 3-1

Well they've been a tad off the boil of late. I'll say a draw, but I'm not sure on the score line. 1-1 or 2-2.

I'll settle for us scoring a goal by ourselves, for ourselves in a 1-1 draw

Not sure what to make of this game.

Donny are possibly starting to get players back. They are boosted by the excellent point at Norwich. You always get the feeling that Donny can/will turn the corner (with a few players back) and beat any team in this league.

Our opponents are on a slippery slope much like ours, but I doubt theirs is due to the injury crisis we have endured. Theirs just seems bad form all round. I'm not savvy with all their ins and outs, so all I know is Mutch has gone and that's it. I'm not sure he made the team tick to be fair, although he did look good against us. Which leads me onto our last meeting. At their place they were very busy and workmanlike esp in midfield and seemed to know how to play us or.... the type of team we hate playing against. Little space in the middle and they closed everything quickly. We struggled at times and our plan b wasn't good. It only looked something like when we shoved Shelton up front for the last 10-15. Our team is much weaker than this meeting and I would love Brooker and Billy up front for this one. That said, I'm sure Sean has done his homework and will know better than me on how to play them. Finally, they also possess Danny (The one that got away) Graham, who I rate very highly and always thought he should have been here, for the price, type and quality he has....however that should have been done 3 seasons ago.

I'll go for a hard fought, grinding out, please be patient type 1-0 win. Billy

Ps Just noticed.....no posts from Watford Anne or even any post about stem cell research

We look like a team of individuals which isn't suprising given the changes. Watford have done nothing other than the goal which came out of the blue. The ref is only interested in taking throw ins from the correct place rather than blowing for obvious fouls.

Don't think the forum is under much pressure today

Neither are Watford judging by the stats....

Stats aren't everything. The lads are giving it everything and that isn't something we could say recently. Gorgeous is growing into the game and Billy is getting nothing from the ref.

Deserved to go deliberate handball and already booked. Their goalie is pretending to be injured while we were waiting to take a corner, it worked.

As Chris Mortley just said on Player - why can't Rovers get the ball in the back of the flaming net!:(
