I suppose the Board are just hoping to get the 'new manager bounce' this close to the end of the season to see them safe. Got to be worth it in their situation.
Considering in the last month they have beaten Forest, Swansea,Sheff Utd and drawn with Derby without 4 of there star players from last season,i think baraclough had done reasonably well and still had a chance of guiding them to safety.I guess the 5 losses in the same period proved to much for the board and his time ran out,so now someone else can come in and take all the credit if they stay up ,and if they don't,well the board come out smelling of roses either way for at least trying to save the clubs Championship status.
The Scunny fans were singing, Sacked in the morning to Barraclough against Preston and cheering the opposition.
