Rovers v City of Bristol
« on March 31, 2011, 07:07:10 pm by CusworthRovers »
Will be a toughie this one, but a point will do for me. They looked strong and fast at our place. Is Maynard playing (not injured), as he's always been dangerous against us and others?

They have pace on either flank, so I'm hoping we play Mills and Muzzy to combat this and make them think about defending rather than attacking us down the flanks

..............Sulli.............

Muzzy.....Shelts....Georgio.....Mills

...........Wilson...Stock...........

....Copps..................Oster......

...........Hayter....Brooker..........

Score 1-1 Copps

1 Male arrested for streaking in the concourse

Swap Wilson for Gillett and I'd agree with you there Cussy.  Be nice for big Steve to play against his old club.

Actually, I'd then go with yours. It's been that scattered with players this season you sometimes forget who you've got. I clearly forgot SG, and agreed he would partner BS. However if BS is not fully fit, I could even see a cautious SG/MW central pairing.

I appreciate I have no Moussa or Euell but I believe the Donny trained players may be more apt to get us over the line (Moussa for JO if he is in need of a battery recharge), and in Brookers case we still need to see him get a good run in the side. An 8 game run would be ideal

I think we will do well to come away with anything from this game.
With Maynard and Pitman probably partnering up front and John Stead back in contention after injury, City look to have goals in them.
One saving grace is that they too are struggling to put together a back four through injuries.
Despite Rovers having some notable results of late, Ashton Gate is always a tough place to go.

A point would be most welcome but realistically I can't see us scoring more than the odd goal.
But then again Rovers can be a bit unpredictable, so here's hoping !

I also think that tomorrow will be a very tough game, but I think we may come away with a draw from this game.

My first ever visit to Bristol as well, so hoping for a good performance and result.

........... Hayter..............

1-1 - Hayter.

From what i've heard Moussa has played better in away games, got more pace + stamina than brooker, be useful closing there defence down and more of a threat, And i think with an extra player playing deeper, will give us more possession in midfield. We'll need to score to get anything, i'm hoping another repeat of norwich away.

Brizzle 0-0 Rovers

Match abandoned 19' due to a partridge attacking David James and trying to nest in his hair.

I'll go for a win. No further prediction as it tends to go pear shaped!!!!!

Lets hope Sheff United don't win their game in hand then. We'll be in serious trouble if they do.

Gutted by their goal, sounds like the lads deserved something out of this. Still think we'll stay up!

preston , crystal palace and coventry all winning yet again without Billy we cannot score should have brought in a striker but we did not. Who will get the goals to win any of the remaining games?

Had Billy not been injured we'd have took 9 points from the last 3 games imo.

Disastrous day all round with us losing and Palace, Coventry and Preston all winning. All we need now is for the Blunts to pull something off on Monday night.

Looks like the Preston game on Tuesday week could be decisive now.
