FM 2011 as Rovers
« on April 18, 2011, 06:52:15 pm by Ollie the Legend! »
I know this may be getting a bit boring, but I have just finished my first season and finished 20th, with the season going down to the last 5 games...... Hopefully the same can be said for the Rovers at the moment!!!                                                                                                                                                          Also, just thought I'd share my tips with you all:                                                                                                  Steve brookerr is great on it, and so is Dennis Souza!!! If you put Steve brooker as a target man and Sharp as an advanced forward. Some cheap players I have signed are Elliott Chamberlain from Leicester, Joey Gudjonsson from Huddersfield, Bobby Hassell from Barnsley and also if you need a pacey right winger then I would suggest Grant Reid from Sheffield Weds I think it was?                           Also found some hints and tips. On you menu in the season (where it says club, manager, continue etc) if you click options and the Manual, there are lots of hints and tips that I find helpful. I tend to follow these and now play 4-4-2 diamond formation.                                                                                          Hope this was quite helpful for some of you, also been told about a little cheat to get 60 million pounds and also sell anyone for 60 million if anyone would like me to find it out?!?!?                                Cheers, Ollie.      RTID!!!!!!! :scarf:

Oh, excellent stuff Ollie! :) I can't say I'd be interested in the cheat, but others may be, so find-out away! :)

Im not interested in the cheat, prefer to play proper.

Im now know nationally on my profile, into december.
Got through the group stage in the Europa leauge and if i win my final game i will win that group.

18 games gone and im 3rd in the leauge and Lennon the best average rating per game so far. Im hoping i can get into that top 4 but it will be tough.

Tried defending my leauge cup crown and that went bad with me going out in the second round to Gillingham on penalties which was dissapointing

Hoping to finish the season tonight

Excellent news :) I've not really been playing the game lately unfortunately, as - like I said on the other thread - I keep getting that error message when I go on team talk screens, which irritates me to the point of unplayability. Anyway, good luck with the remainder of the campaign!

Right then, here's this cheat to sell players for 60 million:                                                                                   Apparently, this is easier for the PSP, but you can also do it on iPods/iPhones.                                           • Unfortunately, you can only do this in the transfer window (not loan/free).                                                   • First, put any player on the transfer list, and wait for a club to bid.                                                                 • Tap 'Respond' and where it says 'Value', increase it to £60,000,000.                                                            • If you are on the PSP, tap the back button and 'Undo changes' and you should get a message confirming the transfer. I was told this so hope this works.                                                                                  • If you are on the iPod, again tap 'Respond' and increase the value to 60 million. However, I tapped 'Confirm' and then the Home button in the top-right hand corner.                                                                     • This should take you to the menu that says club, manager etc. Then I tapped the Message icon in the top-right hand corner and just keep tapping 'Next News' and it eventually - for example, this is the one I used - 'Paul Keegan has agreed terms with Yeovil and will move for 60 million (or something along the lines of that) and then just tap 'Confirm' and it is done.                                                    Hope this works as it did for me, feel free to give feedback. Cheers, Ollie :scarf: RTID!!!

If this does not work for the iPod, instead of tapping confirm, try just tapping the home symbol in the top right corner, then looking through your messages.

On either the main menu or on the manu when you are halfway through a season - where it says 'Club, Manager,Options, Continue' etc. I just tap Options and then select Hints and Tips, should do it mate
