Anyone else of the opinion that the two teams kits today seemed to clash a bit too much. I wonder if this is why there were the occasional v strange pass going astray. My wife who does not come to games commented and I think she had a point.

I agree. I couldnt understand why Palace didnt play in their blue/red stripes/white shorts. There was no clash there, so to change to red and white MUST have been a strategic decision to rattle the Rovers. I would add that I was surprised the ref allowed it, but having watched his subsequent performance there is nothing that little stroker could do which would surprise me. Bent refs! Why do we always get them?

Yep, I did think it strange myself that they were allowed to play in white and red.

My Dad remarked to me at half time that he was struggling to distinguish the kits- I was fine and attributed it to his failing eyesight. He'll be made up when I tell him he was not alone.

Another one here who was struggling from time to time with the kit clash. It wasn't helped by the fact that it was a hot day and a lot of people had come to the game in their typical red and white Rovers shirts.
If they had worn their normal kit, it wouldn't have been a problem.
