Wonder if this is one of the things they found to disagree on after Clegg warned him they needed to find things.

Seems to me the \"Yes to AV\" campaign is getting more and more desperate as their poll ratings fall further back. Maybe the fall in their ratings is because people realise we'd always have Clegg, Cable and co as kingmakers after every General Election if we had AV.

Given the amount of insults that have been flying between the Tories and Lib Dems, I wouldn't mind a small wager on there being a GE this year. Let's hope \"Dead Head Ed\" has got his adenoids sorted by then!

What difference will it make to us.First past the post or proportional representation type systems .The powers that be will still cut deals that renade on their  manifestos behind closed doors which are in the interests of the profit mongerers in the city.Surely we should be looking at utilising technology via more referendums to ensure accountability. At the moment we pretend to  have political democracy but not economic democracy. We should have more of a say on the issues then at least if we screw up we have only got ourselves to blame. The downside of this argument is that public opinion is influenced by the press and we all know he who pays the piper calls the tune.
