Between Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta and the Hairy Cornflake is some true brilliance.

Nothing to do with Saints- except that Debbie Harry should have been made one!

Have you seen Debbie Harry recently?  Rather than looking like a saint, she's more like Greavsie!

Don't do that to me, my first memory of Debbie Harry was a poster on the door of a music shop in Waterdale somewhere, I'd just come out of one of the bus stations and saw that, don't think I've been the same since.

Just for a moment there, I thought that link was going to be a gem of 70s retro porn.

The kind you found on the waste ground at the back of the garages with mould growing on it?

I know it well.

A lad I work with took his stash of gentlemen's art pamphlets and placed them carefully in a wastebin near a secondary school, to keep the tradition of a pubescent teen stumbling across some quality jazz alive.  It's almost poetic.

I believe some 1980s shambling band like The Bodines penned an anthemic epic on exactly that theme.

Or maybe my memory is playing tricks. Maybe it was just me singing along at the top of my voice while running down Wadworth Street in Denaby with that fetid copy of Razzle (Gainsborough Wives Special) that I'd found behind the Catholic Club under me Parka.

Bairns these days eh? Going on line to find some depilated, big-titted Slavic lass being buggered by three Balkan war criminals. They just don't get it.
