Ryan Mason signing
« on July 27, 2011, 11:20:14 am by stevedrfc »
Just been informed that Ryan Mason will be signing for us tomora. Not sure if it's on loan or permanent yet. Also we are looking at giles barnes. This has come from the lad that told me we had signed Chris brown the day before it was in the free press. If I find out more before tomora I will post on here.

Would we realistically be able to get him though? Hope you're on the money again pal (convinced about Mason, though)

Giles Barnes, class act, can be a mardy shite, and injury prone.... Maybe a pay to play deal for me initially, although 10 good games, and everyone will be after him again. Wages could be a issue but very highly rated by derby fans

Mills hasn't been given a squad number at Saints, looks like he's on his way.

Anyone heard any more whispers about this? Is he still meant to be signing or was your ITK friend misinformed this time?

Monaco aren't even in the top division in France anymore. Massive club though, must be suffering from a bout of the Leeds disease.

Mason Confirmed on DROS

Quote
Rovers can today confirm the one-year loan signing of Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Mason. The 20 year old midfielder, who can also play up front, has been brought back by manager Sean O'Driscoll following a couple of loan spells last season.

O'Driscoll who had mooted the possibility of bringing the former England under-20 international back to the Keepmoat Stadium looks to have got his man and he could potentially feature in tomorrow night's pre-season friendly at Grimsby Town.

Mason had been on a pre-season tour of Portugal and has returned. O'Driscoll said, \"We are keeping in touch with Spurs and would like, if he is fit to play, for him to feature at Grimsby. If not, we'll get him up for training next week.\"

Mason will wear the number 17 shirt during his time with Rovers.
