This is a different type of word association game and I'll give you a little bit of background.....


Whilst talking with a few mates last night we got onto word associations, don't ask me why , must have been the booze. Anyway I told them that whenever I heard the word lesbian I immediately thought of ......

The story goes back about 10 years when I worked in an office in Sheffield. One of the girls was a \"bit of lad\", boyish if you know what I mean. She decided to announce to the world that she was a lesbian and immediately had her hair cut even shorter than it was.

Unfortunately for her she was a Sheffield Wednesday season ticket holder......


So in my mind lesbian always conjures up an owl in my mind.


What odd word associations do you have and why?

I link amplifier with lesbian, because a few years back I went to see a big band type thing (trumpets and all that lot - and no, not an orchestra ) and I saw two girls - \"roadies\", apparently - kissing on one of the big amplifiers they had with them.

My darling mum..( a blonde) was reading a mag yesterday, oh look she says, pointing to the headline,,''Raped because I'm a lesbian''....


Pause for thought, then...................


POOR BOY..........................


Mum, boy's CAN'T be lesbians, her excuse was... well he looks like a boy.... Bless her she does make me laugh.
