seriously can we get someone to sort out whats going off ,hardly any interviews with new players hardly any match highlights ,are we going to see sods press conference match preview? please gartom can you try and get something sorted? really happy with our signings and cant wait to see barnes in action ,but having no interviews commentary or highlights is pissing me off big time.

Whilst I agree with your general point, the timing of your post is not ideal as there are currently three on there! (SO'D preview, Naylor and Barnes)

My problem is that due to a technical hitch I can't view them, so am hoping they provide some edited transcripts to read, or that someone is kind enough to summarise on here....

Barnes seems really enthusiastic and says choosing to come here was a no-brainer even though he had offers from other clubs, as he knows SOD and ROK were interested in him before.

SOD is happy at signing him, but feels bad about having to let Vine go. He said that the way things panned out with him wasn't ideal, but it was always a possibility that they might not take him, and he was aware of that from the start. Barnes popped up a bit out of the blue and ticked more boxes for us than Vine with regards to age, power, pace, height.

No fresh injuries through pre-season apart from Wilsons calf, but SOD blames the inca trek for that, haha.

Also, if anybody gets the chance, watch SODs interview, towards the end someone is singing in the background at the top of his voice, funny as hell.

SOD's interview is good, explains the Vine situation.  Have to say SOD seems really upbeat about the team going into the season, seems that they're buying into what he wants and that he has a squad that wants to take on his philosophy.  Good signs there.

Yeah I forgot to add that bit, he said that he has no complaints with anybody coming out of pre-season, every single player has bought into the big picture about what the club is trying to achieve, even when it means doing things they don't like.
