Lol!

I wonder if he'd kiss our badge?  Doesnt Robbie Keane always claim he was a boyhood fan of the clubs he plays for?  I'd find that a tricky one to swallow if he came here..... of which there is no chance.

Just been on SSN saying he won't be dropping down to the Championship.

Not that I believe that it would happen anyway!

....Robbie Keane insists he is willing to leave London and has refused to rule out a move to the Championship.

The out of favour Tottenham forward has confirmed that he is expecting to leave White Hart Lane before the summer transfer window slams shut.

With it clear that he has no future at Spurs, he is keen to secure a switch as soon as possible.

The experienced frontman is currently away with the Republic of Ireland, but he is confident something will happen soon.

Various clubs have been linked with an approach for his services, but reports have suggested that Keane is reluctant to leave London.

The 31-year-old striker has moved quickly to play down those rumours, though, insisting that he is open to offers from around the country.

Asked if his preference was to stay in the capital, Keane said: \"No, I'll move.

Regular football
\"I don't know why this story keeps coming out that I want to stay in London. I've never said that. I'm quite happy to go anywhere.

\"For me, it's just about playing regular football and if that's outside London I'm not too bothered.\"

Keane took in a loan spell with West Ham last season, during which he was unable to prevent the Hammers from being relegated out of the Premier League.

He claims his preference would be to remain in the top flight this season, as he feels he can still do a job at that level, but he is refusing to close any doors.

Keane said: \"Of course clubs have to agree a fee but, not being disrespectful at all to the Championship, if I got an option to play in the Premier League, I'm obviously going to take that.

\"But there's been no talk of any Championship team.\"
