Anybody know of cheap, reasonably good places to stay in Amsterdam for a lads weekend?

Hotel Torenzicht. Have stayed there a few times - £35 a night each if you're sharing.

Cheap as chips. 24 hr bar downstairs. Friendly staff. Come and go as you please. Right in the middle of the RLD.

Ask for a room highest up facing the side street and you'll have a discreet view of the ladies* plying their trade in the windows below.


*See if you can spot which are female and which are not. Clue: not many.

I've stayed at the Hotel Luxer a couple of times. It's clean, reasonably priced and only a short walk from all the \"attractions\". Try the Amnesia Haze in Barney's Breakfast Bar.

Great location, really clean and cheap though all the DVD's and magazines are gay porn.
