How many tickets do we normally get for the game there.

Want to make a day of it but some of the lads wanting to come dont have season tickets.

Did it make general sale last time?

cheers

I paid on the night last time.

The away end is a terrace that holds around 4k. You'll be fine.

Pretty difficult to compare it to last time because it was a midweek fixture that season.

I think it did make general sale though, seem to remember buying my tickets quite late on for that match.

Hope you're well enough to go Jucy, it will be nice to see a good win with the new boys in the squad!

They made general sale last time and there were still plenty available on the day even though it was a Tuesday night.

I'd be very shocked if we sold out to be fair, there away end holds 3500 and i think it has a standing and a sitting tier? I may be wrong on that though.

It is just a single tier terrace. Best away end in the league IMO.

Not sure when they're starting to re-develop that stand though. Supposedly building a new stand there for next year so I'm not sure if the away end is still in tact?

i believe its 4k behind the goal, plus we would get some seats in there main stand.

You will probably be on the same train as me Deb, I'll be the only Rovers fan getting on at Downham.

Didn't Rigo say ages ago that they were bolting seats onto the terracing? I seem to remember him complaining (for a change, eh?) about how it'd mean a lack of leg room.

It's still terracing at the moment, as they dont start works on the away end until November time.
This is the main game I want us to win, as I work and live in Peterborough and my other halfs family
are all Posh fans. We have won 4 out of 4 against them since I have lived here, so hoping we can make it
6 out of 6 this year.

We wont need  red roses in our buttonholes then, cos we will stick out like attractively attired sore thumbs... ;) lol.

On an aside, have you ever been in the waiting room at Downham? from what I have heard , it is supposed to be a hidden gem, that looks like te set of Brief encounter.
