Cooker question.

My poor old cooker is dying, so I have to get a new one. I can't really afford to have it fitted and have looked on line to see if it is something I can do myself..Trouble is, I can't really find anything that makes sense..My old one is a double oven with a fan, I did read that certain types of cooker require different types of wireing. My new one will be more or less like for like, so is it just a case of swapping the wires over in that little box behind the cooker? (After turning the electric off first of course)

I don't mind tackling it myself, 12 years in a manless household makes you rather self sufficiant, but I don't want to blow myself up either..lol

Should be pretty much a straight swap then, probably have to disconnect the cable from the back of the existing cooker and reconnect it to the new one as most cookers that size don't come pre wired any more. Any queries message me and I'll go thru it with you.

Pmsl Mark, one of the reasons it's a manless household is I got totally sick of  the fact that everytime I'd leave the room I'd hear boom chakka waawaa music cos the filthy pervert ex hubby couldn't watch normal tv for two mins without turning on the fooking video player..

I can only think that the ladies in those vids were either blind or high.. What IS attractive about Ron Jeremy?
