Season Ticket checked at turnstyle

Did anyone else get stopped by a Stadium employee checking season ticket numbers on Saturday, he would n`t tell me what he was checking for, does any one know?

There were 6 of us at 3 different turnstiles and we werent approached by anyone, you must look dodgy Filo :dry:

Stolen one or adult using a kids ticket

I did get checked at gate 17

West - Turnstile 17 for me, never got checked. Must just be filtering through the dodgy looking characters

Don`t know the turnstyle number, but it`s the ones in the west stand between the bar and the club shop

May have been something wider than that.  We had family tickets and they were also checked by someone outside the turnstile (West Stand).

We sit in the old CAT C tickets on the South East Corner. We tried to go in through the East stand turnstyles to be sent to the South Stand. The we had to have the gate at the bottom opended to allow us through to our seats amid much grumbling by the security staff.
The staff siad they were tightening up a lot on the tickets front.

I agree, at the West Ham game I was stood near the ticket office and a lad tried to sell me a free carers ticket, he said he gets a ticket and a carers ticket every game but he was on his own this game so to recoup some money he wanted a tenner for the free ticket, I told him I had a season ticket, but about 5 minutes later I saw him sell it to some one else

For the Tranmere game , by mistake, I showed the girl on the turnstile my Brighton ticket and she still let me in

Yes Last season my season ticket said Adult on the fisrt page and each ticket in the book was marked senior citizen. Was told it didn't matter as no one checked and they were right. I had my story ready all season but was never challenged.

Perhaps they were checking to see if you had sweetie pie  written in teeny tiny type in the corner of your season ticket...
