We all want this great man in our lives?

How can we keep him here at the Rovers?

Given that he is a God ...why not own clothes brand?

Give him a third of all profits ....like Trundle at Swansea?

King Billy we love you!

I actually feel sorry for the guy. We are to put it politely going through a \"transitional phase\" where relegation is a fair assumption. There is no way a player of his talent and man of his calibre should be scratching around the bottom of the Championship with the current shambles. If we got offered anything approaching he £3.5million again and he was willing to move, I think best for all parties. He should go on to far better things than we could ever offer (League One most likely for next season).

If you love someone you should be prepared to let them go
wish him well when the time finally comes (later rather than sooner )
 and wish him prem football
which is his desire
good luck in any choice he makes

Interestingly, the season after Swansea sold Trundle they got promotion from League One, and obviously not long after have made their way into the Premier League.

Selling a club's iconic figure might, at the time, seem like an awful move, but football can be a capricious beast.

I don't think he will move as soon as people think he will.
Like he said this summer he still has something to prove and he clearly loves this club. When he does move he will still be a rovers icon in my eyes and i'll always look to see how he's doing.

Billy Sharp will go down in Rovers folklore, but if he left I'd wish him well and start wondering who to buy with the cash.......

Truly up there with Alick Jeffrey, Peter Kitchen, Ian and Glynn Snodin as one of our all time greats.  He will probably move on one day and lets face it, his talent should be seen at a higher level.

Lets just enjoy what he brings us for now.

By all accounts Billy is a real family man.

I cant imagine after this he is going to move hundreds of miles away from his family anytime soon.
