\"But I don't think it's right for us to comment on other teams' players.\"- which is what he then proceeds to do.

What a cock-end this man is.

Jewell was at the Boro game on Tuesday, i'm assuming it was just a scouting mission as we play them on Saturday.

Didnt Mr Jewell make his bid just before we played them last season! its to unsettle Sharpy but I dont think that will happen this time round after recent events !

The fat scouse git is at it again:

http://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-town/blues_prepare_sharp_bid_1_1121090

The thing that makes me laugh is that he was so keen to get Billy on the cheap that he didn't bid enough to trigger the clause in the contract. I suppose when you do all your transfer dealings through the media you think you can snap your fingers and the players will come running.

And don't forget \"...I don't think it's right for us to comment on other teams' players.\"

Not only an a**ehole, but a hypocritical one at that.

Hypocrtical really isn't it?

If they meet the clause it's no problem from me, any less f**k off.

Didn't JR say in the summer that Billy 'wasn't that bothered' about going to Ipswich?

Asked if will be speaking to owner Marcus Evans about tabling a new bid, Jewell said: “I think anyone who knows me will know that conversation has already taken place. We don’t really want to do things in the public domain though, we want to do things as quietly and discreetly as possible.

“There’s obviously been some interest from Southampton who look as though they’re going to be in the Premiership next season so we’re going to be battling with that.

“I know Billy was interested in coming here in the summer though so we’ll see what happens.”

Hardly being discreet is he?

Can we not put an official complaint in to the FA about Ipswich for intentionally trying to unsettle Sharp :boxing: :boxing:

I think that unless our season doesn't show any sort of upturn then no one could blame him for wanting a move esp if it is a premiership team, however if this current policy of ours does work out and he likes the look of the long term plans that Deano and JR have, you never know we may be able to get him to extend his stay by another year.

Given the fact that they did n`t meet the valuation to trigger the clause to allow Billy to speak to them, is he saying that they tapped him up in the summer?

Jewell sat a couple of seats from me at the Middlesborough game. Boro had apparently shaved a monkey and let it accompany Paul to the KM. A stranger looking man you'd be hard pressed to find. I wonder who he was?

ps They both did a lot of laughing at the antics on the pitch. I bet there weren't many laughs for them on Saturday! It's the little things in football that I find the most joy in.

Jewell said: \"Doncaster will have to accept an offer (in January) because Billy Sharp has got a clause in his contract

Is it right that another manager can talk publicly about a players contract at another club?

JR needs to lodge a complaint to the authorities and Ipswich`s chairman!

The FA won't take any action unless you can prove there was some clandestine contact between a club and a player. So unless Jewell contacted Billy directly and offered him a deal, and Billy reported it, there's nothing that can be done. It is highly unethical, of course, and if I was Dean Saunders I'd be giving him the full benefit of my opinions!

However, it is a disgusting way to behave and I wonder how Jewell would like his players to be discussed in the press by another manager? I suppose some good may come of it in that his actions may help to drive up the eventual price- though not from a point of view of keeping Billy at the club.

Don't forget that it was Jewell who started the rumour a few weeks ago about the possible loan and cut-price transfer in January- which led to all the speculation at a most difficult time for Billy.

Just had a read of their forum and they're even dimmer than the manager.  So you have a 2.3m bid turned down, Southampton have a 3m+ one accepted and your manager has just said that Sharp has a clause in his contract.  How much should you offer?

1m - 1.5m

This fat t**ts conduct is nothing short of a disgrace. You cannot say things like that about another teams player.

He is going to go. Hope its Southampton after the way this dick keeps shooting his mouth off.

Interesting, at the Middlesbrough he was sat in front of me, the only people sat within a couple of seats of him was Dave Penney to one side and the Middlesbrough directors in front of him.

Why would Sharp want to go to Ipswich anyway? Surely its a sideways step in terms of ambition as they certainly won't be able to offer him Premier League football any times soon. I think the club to watch will be Southampton although I still don't know whether Sharp would move down there, especially with recent circumstances taken into account.

Perhaps Dave Morris should write to Ipswich again, this time pointing out that their manager lacks the integrity of the club and its supporters. They deserve better

Hopefully someone will have a word in his shell-like, his posturing is becoming embarrassing for such a good club. It's annoying, uncalled for and downright disrespectful now piss off Jewell.

Why does the sweaty scruffy Scouse git always look like he's just come out of a nightclub at 4am.  The filthy porn monger.

He's one of those serial club managers like Billy Davies.  Never going to stay anywhere too long as he's shite.
