Load of shite, they will have seen the article on Daily Mail site (I think) and jumped to their own conclusions. We'll be paying him 2k per week as that's the model we've put in place.

What would be the point in coming out with all this stuff about shop windows, 2k maximums, not having money to be paying any more, and then going out and paying a player 3 times what our max earner is on...

What was reported is that we pay the loan players £2k a week, with Douif being who he is, and this taking a while to conclude we can assume we could be really paying him anything, I doubt we are gonna get a pay out if he joins some big club in January either...

They will have read an article stating Ilunga is on £30k per week and we are paying a £2k contribution during his loan period, then being a bitter dingle, made a fabrication of a story by saying we are paying El Hadj 30k per week.

Im pretty sure he's on £2k. He wanted £25k per week from the Russian team knowing they have the financial muscle to pay it. That deal didnt materialize and he has come here under influence of agents stating he needs to demonstarte why he should be paid 25-30k per week. After all, what would you rather do, get paid 2k and put yourself in the shop window, or get nothing and ultimately fall off the radar of any potential suitor?
