Hats off to Gartom, Berkshire Rover, Silent...

...Majority with apologies to any other of the key VSC folks I have missed out.

During an incredibly turbulent time the VSC team have somehow managed to maintain a dialogue with JR and established a relationship with Dean and Willie.  As a result we on here have had real first-hand information and feedback.  Equally, I think Gartom has sought to reassure JR (who is only a fan like the rest of us after all, but just richer and more successful and with a better-looking wife) and I think that is not to be underestimated.

Well done guys. Thank you all.

Hear hear, have to say that it's great that the new team are talking to the fans reps and we get to hear their views first hand.

One of the few things worth reading on here atm.

Oh dear Woking, does your wife read the forum?

God help you if she does

We have a lot going on with the DRFC team at the moment, but it would be a little presumptuous to post every time we have a conversation or exchange e-mails. It would be better to wait until we have something worthwhile reporting before we do so, some of it may come to nothing, but then again!!

Oh by the way Woking, my wife is a cracker!

My good man, I don't include myself in the allusion; it was merely a reference to the masses, the great unwashed who frequent this forum.  Would you not expect a man of my standing to possess a beautiful wife sir?...

...(Note to self for future reference: I must avoid those supermarket promotions on strong cider etc.)

I have this image in my head of Wokingviking, staggering down the road, tracky bottoms tucked into his socks, a hoody and 2 litre bottle of White Star in his hand!

I will put 8 Ace up as my picture, but need to go out in a minute to meet Berkshire - we're off to Woking FC this afternoon.  Now where's my hoody?....
