No Pioneer is no more, closed about 2-3 years ago. The old lady that ran it is in the same care home in Hatfield as my gran. She passed it on to her son but he couldn't be arsed apparently.
Agree with you about them being the best, have not found any pickled onions that come anywhere near despite trying numerous brands.
