Post-match incident.
« on February 18, 2012, 06:09:15 pm by Chris »
According to Radio Sheffield Saunders and the squad have not left the ground as they are being interviewed by the police. I'm not sure if the same applies for Leeds Utd.

Anyone see anything?

To be honest, so long as nobody got hurt and nothing untoward was said, it is a good thing that Rovers were sufficiently pissed off for it all to kick off. Because if they felt anything like every Rovers supporter did today, this was what was needed.

Didnt sound good. Didnt it all start with Alex Bruce chasing Diouf down the tunnel though?

Paul Goodwin @paulgoodwinDFP

DS is not doing his post-match presser. Big police presence as Rovers players board team bus. Don't think we've heard the last of this.

Leeds forum posters seem convinced that what happened was Diouf spitting at Mccormack and Diouf getting smacked for it.

Alot of rumours have been going round on Waccoe, all involve a Rovers player starting it. First it was Diouf spitting at McCormack, then Chimbonda was meant to have been the cause of it, then to top it off another story that it was actually Lockwood that spat at Ross.

Dont believe any of it, wait till we hear something official first.

To be fair, they also think they won the European Cup.

Perhaps not the most reliable of sources.

Waccoe is usually full of shite, I doubt it will be any different on this occasion. They always think that their players are angels ;)

Diouf is such an easy target because of his previous. The people posting this will probably have been in their shite Leeds pub when the final whistle went.

True with only 21,000 being there you would probably be right.

No more word on what happened? I dare say we will have to wait for the referee's report to see if any action is taken. Let's hope no individual players (at least Rovers ones) were fingered because the last thing we need is suspensions.

Could end up with a fine for both clubs for failing to control their players, I suppose.

Yep, it's Callum Saunders (DS's son) on Twitter who has said Diouf was punched by O'Dea, so Diouf hit him back, then McCormack got involved and hit Diouf.

What's the betting that Diouf's the only one who cops the FA charge? :(
