could or neighbours still join us?
« on April 15, 2012, 10:30:55 am by Bald Rover »
Barnsley seem to be in freefall at the minute with some of their fans comparing their plight to ours, already tipped to drop next season......
But with the refs having big team syndrome towards Portsmouth and Coventrys team seemingly unable to accept the drop and even Bristol hitting some form, could Barnsley follow us down? Nothing seems impossible this season! :suicide:

If we could guarantee it, I`d happily roll over against Coventry to make it happen

Me too. I'd love to see them down and I'd love it for us to take them down. Comes from working in the shit hole and living nearby. They've been crap for years and, on balance, deserve it.

Theres always a chance just like us that they could always fail to stay up due to being in the bottom half. But then again look at Watford who have done well with their resources mainly with players through the academy. 55 players in 5 years played in their first team. Something we could follow on with the right investment and nurturing the youth. Can see 2 or 3 being given a chance. Especially in JPT trophy

Funny, I have quite a soft spot for Coventry. They've never really recovered from some bad decisions made by a chairman called Richardson (no relation to the Firestarter!) I kind-of hope they stay up, but if they do come down then they are almost as big a basket-case as Portsmouth and are unlikely to pose much of a threat at the top end of League One.

On the other hand, if Bristol City or Barnsley (unlikely) came down then I'd expect them to be favourites to bounce straight back.

We need to reduce individual admission for match days to try and get as many fans as we can to come. The more fans better atmosphere
