If Woy is the best we can look at then god/buddha/mohammed help us.
He failed at Liverpool with probably the best bunch of players he has ever worked with, went to WBA and kept them up and really has done nothing this season or any other.
A 2nd rate manager, managing a 2nd rate team, makes you wonder if 'Arry told them to shove it as far as they could.
Best team in Europe? England would be lucky be the best team in England.

I'd rather have Hodgson than Redknapp. These are genuinely the best available candidates. There are more managers in the Premier League right now from the city of Glasgow than there are from England.

Redknapp by all accounts barely even deals with stuff like tactics, so in that respect Joe Jordan and Clive Allen would probably be in charge of England if Redknapp took over. Plus quotes like "players like Terry and Gerrard have to play if they're fit no matter what" don't make me want to see him in charge.

If you and many others feel the need to pontificate about other footballing matters start a separate section, to save me and possibly others wasting time reading them when I/we think it is Rovers related.

I read things on this section of the forum because I expect it to involve all things Rovers there are other sections for things that don't.
Why bother having separate sections otherwise?

Haha, if you read the description of the two boards its not 100% clear which is for "non-Rovers football" as one says "for all things red & white" and the off topic says "non-football related".

TBF I lean towards putting other football stuff in this forum as theres always the potential the debate might lead back to Rovers anyway.

Doesn't really matter anyhow but I had it on decent authority from an FA representative at the time that 'Arry was really a smokescreen and they were pursuing (and very close to) agreeing a deal to install Arsene Wenger which fell through at the last bit cos he was ready to start rebuilding Arsenal again!

Not sure how it would've panned out and can't say I'm really that bothered tho because I'm (in all honesty) not that bothered about England to be fair - altho I know loads on here are!
