In the Fans Weekend (hosted by the Football Supporters Federation and Supporters Direct) our ver own Silent_Majority, otherwise known as the VSC secretary Martin O'Hara is in the running to be elected Deputy Chair of the Football Supporters Federation.
I hope I speak on behalf of the VSC and the rest of forum users in wishing Martin the best of luck and hoping he returns victorious.

Thanks to everybody, it was a tough weekend if I'm honest. But there were some highlights, got to spend an evening with Jonathan Wilson the journalist from the Guardian who took me through the tactics of the Spanish team at the Euros and explained why they struggled against Portugal and how they found it easy against Italy. The guys an absolute genius when it comes to talking about great teams over the years and what made them great, his book called 'Inverting the Pyramid' was football book of the year in 2009.

I managed to find time to go through a few Rovers projects and ideas with some really influential people from the Premier League, Supporters Direct and others. They were most impressed!

But the highlight had to be the FSF Awards Dinner last night, so funny it was incredible. Didn't realise Perry Groves (ex-Arsenal) was so funny in real life. Along with Barry Glendenning, Michael Gray & Kevin Day it was a superb night.

Well done Martin, now you dont just have a load of Rovers fans moaning at you - you've the whole country! That is a great book by the way, mentions Peter Doherty's tactics of swapping shirt numbers to confuse the opposition.
