I've just noticed the news on the OS that Eric has stepped down as the Chief Exec of the Foundation.

I'd like to thank Eric for all he has done for community projects around the area, which were recognised last year in Barcelona when he was awarded the "Unsung Hero" award.  Smashing bloke.

On behalf of the Supporters Club, we would like to thank Eric for all the work he has done for the Rovers, It will be a big loss for the club, but will leave with the Football in the community as i still call it  in a healthy state, and the best in proffesional football in this country and worldwide. He and his team have promoted Rovers thought the area. and do an excellent job.
He desreves to spend time with the family as he always seems to be doing something connected with the club
Eric you are a legend.
