Rovers 2-2 Barnsley - Full Report and Pics
« on August 06, 2012, 11:11:49 am by ryan147 »
Hi,
I am a 16 year old football fan and I write reports on the matches I go to on my website. I went to the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday to watch the friendly against Barnsley and I thought you might be interested in reading my report and looking at the photos.

Cheers,
Ryan

Good effort Ryan it's no worse than some reports I've read in the local rags.

Just one mistake, going on your photo's you were sat in the West stand not the East.  ;)

Well done. You're obviously better than the muppet who updates DROSS and got the goalscorer wrong on Saturday.

Nice report, nice photos. Get your links sent to the club/Free Press etc. Might not lead to anything but it's worth a punt!

Just one thing. I'd be careful about taking photo's of the actual game and putting them on the net. I know one or two people who have done similar and been done under copyright laws.

Good work mate. I liked the picture of a floodlight then you labelled it 'floodlight'...not taking piss or anything it just made me laugh for some reason.

Keep up the good work and let us know how Hird gets on.

Yeah, I remember something about the rights to the actual game being owned by the Football League. So any photos you take are actually owned by the Football League, same goes with videos.

Yeah but as long as you're not making any profit out of it, I don't think they can do much more than request you take them down. Nothing to worry about, I reckon.

Friendlies (by definition NOT league games) surely aren't owned by the FL?

It's to do with player image rights, which I believe are owned by the FL.

I did some reporting on Lincoln City while at Uni for the student paper and for a community radio stations, and we weren't allowed to take any photos at all. Guessing same rules apply.

Just take the photos. The worst thing the club can do is send you a nasty worded letter or get the most miserable steward to tell you off.
