Yeah, because that would make it on to a Doncaster Rovers forum.

I wonder if we improved the offer or he had a change of mind?

He seems to be a bit of a character.

Personal life

On 27 April 2008 Quinn was rushed to hospital with a broken jaw after an unprovoked attack outside the notorious Baker Street establishment in Wishaw. He was ruled out for the rest of the season as a result, with Brian McLean taking his place in the team.

In May 2008, Quinn was convicted of Assault stemming from an incident at teammate Ross McCormack's birthday celebration. Sentencing was deferred until July 2008 for background reports.

In June 2008 Quinn and his girlfriend were robbed at gunpoint whilst holidaying in Florida, United States. The couple had been returning to their hotel when the incident took place.

Good signing and about time too after all the false dawns we've had over the past few weeks! Now for another CB and a keeper and I'll be a lot more confident about this season.

The media guy who updates DROS and stuff like that tweeted it earlier. Said it will be on DROS tomorrow.

don't count your chucks , lets face it the're not queueing up exactly . why did we pay him so much anyway ,it beggers belief.

Maybe someone at the club should have a word with a couple of journos and tell them that we have two bidders in for Stock. It might make Burnley get off their backsides and sign him, rather than letting us pay his wages till a day before the League season starts.

The fee has been agreed, Burnley must be stalling on his wage demands, it just makes you wonder what kind of Money Stock must be on, if a club that is still getting premier league parachute payments is stalling on his demands

Maybe for example he's on 6k here. Burnley may think he's only worth 8k. Stock might want 10k. It's probably his last big contract and he might not want to leave so is pushing for as much as he can get....you couldn't blame him!

Another Good signing to add to the earlier one's we made, and i would think would be able to play a few positions if needed which is important with a smaller squad!!,we need strong characters to get us out of this league, that's another part of the jigsaw, love to see a keeper like Roy Carroll come in now that would be a cracker of a signing!!

Yeah, I'm sure Roy Carroll wants to leave a side in the Champions League to come and play in League One for us.

Excellent news about Rob Jones!!

Agree about Jones. It doesn't like any more are coming in this week but with Quinn signing and Jones fit we can at least put out a defence on Saturday.

Saunders also says he played 20 games for Cardiff last season, I don't think he did.
