A 0 from me the guy didn't have a clue. Booking Hume was a joke.

Same from me.
The linesman on the west stand was useless as well.
Twice at least he didn't know which way to point his flag. :(

Zero from me too. Just hope I get the chance to vote above a 2 this season but it's clear to see that it won't happen!

Gets a 1 from me. He was atrocious, although as I have said earlier, only a referee like Mr Russell will get a zero.

The standard of officiating is dreadful and it is something the FA needs to address.

One from me too. I seen worse many times, but that's only because I've been to loads. This fella should retire, too old to keep up with the game.

Unfortunatley (must have been to a different game) I've given him a 3, but tbf I don't think we will get a ref who will be perfect so I see a 5 as a ref who is fair, unbiased and only makes the odd mistake. If a ref was totally Rovers bias would that deem him a 5? If so then I don't think this is fair at all, we should be judging the refs on how they perform in being fair and even and not robbing our opponents.

I think we were a little harsh on him throughout the game; yes he made mistakes but he did try to keep the game flowing and he was (to a point) unbiased. He could have been far worse than what you are rating him. His linesman were a different story. Most of the things we shouted for but didn't get seemed about right in my eyes, there were a few moments where I was dissapointed when we didn't get some things but when you are behind and the team were performing like that you look to the ref for any help you can get.
That said I have developed conjunctivitis from this morning so I could be wrong  :chair:

Hume's booking was one of the most ridiculous I've seen.

One thing that really annoyed me about this ref was when he paced out the 10 yards for a free kick the Stevenage players just totally ignored him so he just let them stand where they wanted to anyway, I thought the Stevenage players were masters of gamesmanship and the ref was weak just letting them get away with it!

Technology required for the 10 yards !

Backtracking I know but at Colchester that Ref was doing "strides" of about 2/3 of a yard at most

One free kick he gave was taken exactly on the semi circle of the 18 yard box so the wall JUST HAD TO BE on/across the Penalty spot BUT with his strides it was at least 2 yards in front of it

Wouldn't say he was totally hopeless and probably as bad for both teams but the idiot on the East side in the first half didn't understand the offside rule and just seemed to wave his flag at random times. Syers was comfortably onside when he scored.
