I'll give him a zero and that's only because there's no option to give him less. Beyond a joke how piss poor he was all night. Yet another official who wanted to be the very centre of attention. For what it's worth I'm not just saying this for shit decisions given against us, as I don't believe it was a foul at all when he gave the free kick that Cotterill scored from.

Fell for every trick Preston did but miss almost every foul even the one after 30seconds on brown

Zero from me, did n`t seem to know what a foul throw is, Brown man handled all night and as soon as a Preston player hit the deck it was a free kick, allowed himself to be well and truely conned!

I gave him a one but seriously considered a zero. Fell for Preston's spoiling tactics from the first minute.

I know a big fat zero can sometimes be construed as a reaction to a defeat but this guy was so utterly incompetent in all aspects of the art of refereeing that I wouldn't have put him charge of a game of tiddliwinks between two three-year-olds.

big fat zero from me, not because we lost, he never actually contributed to their goals but so one sided beyond belief and got so many of the basics wrong (foul throws etc)

Gets a 0 off me too, completely conned by them all night , whenever they lost the ball in our half it appeared to be the done thing for a Preston player to drop like a stone. Anything and everything to slow the game down , we saw every trick in the book........the water bottles required every time one of them fell was a major gripe. Ffs the game was pedestrian at best and played on a cold, rainy night in Donny not bloody Mexico City!
I don't ever want to see a keeper like that at Rovers ever again and I don't mean Gary Woods but that Lancy (deliberate) apology for a sportsman.  :headbang:
