Praise or Grumble
« on November 28, 2012, 10:23:37 am by timdrfc »
Since we get very poor coverage on radio Sheffield Wednesday / United delete who isn't playing. Then I think it's high time supporters of Doncaster Rovers started to praise our Management team for the amazing job on limited resources have done. So well done Dean & Brian no one if honest would have thought we would be joint top or second if you listen to radio Sheffield at the start of the season. So despite our continued lack of coverage , even on Friday Radio Sheffield had ex player but current Scunthorpe assistant Russell Wilcox on instead of a Rovers member before our meeting last Saturday , which I found a total lack of respect to us as a club.

The teams in this league are no where near championship sides. The teams like Huddersfield and Charlton have brought in premiership strikers on loan to get them to halfway in the table. Wednesday haven't and that's why they are near the bottom. So listening to praise or grumble they have to get used to the idea. Again we are second in the league but football is secondary to the results. Dean and management are doing well to get us to that position, but it is a poor league and if we get any where near this position at the end the board may wonder if they can afford it.

The extra 5-6 million in revenue I'm sure will persuade them they can afford it

But we will have to bring in better players pay them more to stay in the division, so the extra money will be spent. We could afford it last year so will we be able to afford it next year. We will wait and see you may be right but time will tell.

visit Blades fans forum and see how much praise , unconditional praise , Dean Saunders gets and I realise how lucky we are to have found such a gem of a hard working knowledgable , positive guy to SAVE us from dropping back into ignominous anonymity.
Often the best are only recognised when they have gone . Savour every minute of this very exceptional man manager, coach and fitness expert . He will either manage SHEFF U next or WALES.
