Still no cover from the midfield, is Keegan on the field?

Free Press also saying that all action is coming down their right wing. Can't imagine Bennett is providing much protection for Spurr. If this continues then you have to put Husband on I reckon. Bennett far too lightweight for a game like this.

2 of Their players have had a good six minutes laid out on the pitch this half.

Just wondered is it the same midfield problem.

Barely heard any of our midfielders mentioned yet.  If the roumour of a Wellens return has any truth in it, it can't happen soon enough.

Well it sounds like they keep coming in waves, but are struggling to create genuine chances as usual. I'm not panicking just yet. They happened to score a good individual goal which it sounds like Woods fumbled, so it sounds like business as usual! Here's hoping we can bring on Brown and Syers to give us more options in midfield and up front! I'm really going off Keegan as of late, cannot see what he's been doing to deserve a start every game.

Both Keegan and Harper have advantages but they should never under any circumstances be played in the same team together. Clingan should always start alongside one of them.

May be a way to go yet but signs not good. Nothing to change concerns that:-

Quinn - Not up to it
McCombe - Dodgy
Spurr - better at centre half
Harper - Invisible
Keegan - visible mainly for the wrong reasons
Paynter - also invisible
Bennett - Lost in a sea of green.

I'll always say about Keegan his heart's in the right place so he does well against a team full of scrappers and cloggers. If you put him against a team with any kind of footballing ability whatsoever he gets shown up every time though.

At least Bennet has been trying to get forward, but there is no tackling midfielder who can also pass a ball, it leaves us open for quick attacks without any control from midfield.

Copps isn't going to be sprinting back 30 yards to get a tackle in but thank god we will finally have someone who can put their foot on the ball and pass to someone in red and white.

According to the BBC Rovers haven't had a shot on target yet. Amazing how we are managing to win! :)

PA stats as accurate as ever. Apparently we had minus 25% of the possession between the 37th and 44th minutes.

Yeah, it really sounds like our usual gameplan is struggling simply because the centre of midfield is so plodding we can't get forward properly and invite too much pressure. Harper and/or Keegan should not be playing together if we have any other option.

Like to see at least a double substitution at the break.

Syers for Harper...get some legs on.

Husband for McCombe...lower centre of gravity on a wet pitch and more likely to cause them problems going forward.

That shows how much we have been giving the ball away!

Liam Hoden from Free Press: That man M'Changama fires an effort from 25 yards, seemed to go through Gary Woods' hands #oafc 1 #drfc 1

I know he's been crucified plenty but it's getting ridiculous now.

I'll reserve judgment but hope it's not another case of a shot on target where we may as well have started with 11 outfield players.

Radio Sheffield also gave it the "Woods will think he could have done a lot better" etc.

Bennett had a cracking on-target shot at about 20 minutes.

Hopefully Dean will have at least a keeper and a midfielder on his January wishlist. Priority for me over any more strikers.

I've heard it all know. Commentator says

"Good news. Ian Hulme has signed permanently on loan to the end of the season. Will miss the game v Preston."

Say What.

No.

Good to hear Rovers fans doing their best to lift the team. A change or two can't be too far away.
