Always thought the acting in his shows was a bit wooden to be honest

Sad news.
I think back to a wonderful time in the late sixties when anything was possible; man was on the moon, Doncaster had just obtained its own daily newpaper, the Doncaster Evening Post, the Rovers were top of Division 4, and Gerry's shows were on the telly.
Fast forward to a few years back and i enjoyed Thunderbirds again, this time sharing it with my son, just like i shared the Rovers with him!!!
Anyway FAB Gerry.

Sad to read he's passed away. A great man who made a lot of great television.
I was more into Terrahawks, as it was my era and new (at the time). Some of the baddies on that made, me jump out of my skin as a kid. Sram, anyone? Think he was the one that roared and made mountains collapse!
I have had the theme tune as the main ring tone on all my phones over the past 7 or 8 years.
RIP Gerry.

It was all about Captain Scarlet when I was a kid, even though it was made well before my time I always loved watching it. Thunderbirds and Stingray too. Timeless stuff, my mum used to watch it when she was little in the 70s, and I loved it just as much 2 decades later. It's rare you get something that can be enjoyed by all generations like that. FAB indeed.
