GLYNN SNODIN
« on January 06, 2013, 08:02:44 pm by redandwhitearmy »
Can 100% confirm that Glynn Snodin is very keen on the job. I know for a fact he'd jump at the opportunity.

So then, who's up for a petition to get Glynn in as manager or assistant atleast?  :) :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

A petition! The world has gone mad. Not even confirmed that DS has gone and now you want a petition about appointing a new manager! Barmy, I'd let JR do what he plans to do...he's got a pretty good record ya know!  :saywhat:

No thanks he has a brother that had lined some players up for us to sign but said players  signed for Luton instead and they then gave said brother a job the following week.

Well he is a proven quality coach, however untested as a manager. But so was Saunders!

I'd rather have the rumour mill manager myself.

Sammy Lee? Brian Kidd? Les Reid?

Assistant managers dont always step up to the mark... RISKY!

Jones temporarily makes sense but there is a risk involved if his form suffers.
There's so much more to being a manager and it could affect his relationship with the players when it comes to picking the team.
It would be even worse than Deano going if Captain Fantastic is not at his best.
The sooner we get Glynn Snodin in the better.

I'd like Glynn. Him or Paul Tisdale.

No thanks may well have been a great player for us but probably not as ably equipped as many of the names suggested.
Irvine for me please.

Not sure why you don't think he's as ably equipped. He's probably the best coach among them and to coach you have to have leadership and managerial skills.

Because there are many tried and tested managers out there and available. Managerial skills and being a manager are not always the same thing. Anyway let's agree to disagree I have a problem with employing prodigal sons .......it rarely works somehow.

Most of the managers out there are tried and tested in failure because virtually all of them have lost their job at one time or another. I agree with what you say about prodigal sons to a certain extent although there are exceptions. But as you say it's all a matter of opinion. Let's hope the ones whose opinions count get it right.

To me the Snods are legends and I would hate anything to mess that up. I'm sure they have already got it sorted out after all it wasn't that long ago that they were looking to replace SO'D.

I'll never forget Ian Snodin going absolutely mental in the dressing room at half time in a friendly game at Guiseley I think it was. You could hear him out on the terraces shouting and smashing things. I think we were winning as well.

No thanks. Lets have someone with managerial experience who can guide us up this season like Dave Jones did for pigs last season.
