Mindless individuals with simple narrow minds... Good luck to Dean, shame he's off, thought he would stick with us for the League 1 Title.

Maybe the idiots booing at half time yesterday helped make Deans mind up to go.

You always get that after relegation but most where behind him this season.

To be fair, this board isn't a hivemind. A lot of those categories of people you mentioned are pretty separate from one another.

I'm not that bothered that he has gone if he is adequately replaced. We have one of the most talented squads in league 1 (assembled by DS - credit where credit is due) and it would take some pretty awful management to not get us at least a play off place now. I don't begrudge him going at all. Wolves are a massive club compared to us, it would be mental for him to stay.

You show me a football fan who isn't fickle. All part of following the game. We could be top of the league, 20 points clear and we would still want to be 25 points clear and whinging about it.

Agreed coppsisgod. Done a decent job, but not irreplaceable.

Saunders built a solid defence and made us strong at set plays. It's done well for us so far, but if this club is to progress in the medium to long term we'd probably need a bit more than that.

But monk that's because he identified that was the best way to succeed in this division and he has been proved correct. Has he not?
He so identified that in the next league we'd have to play a different way with different players.

Yes fans are fickle yet players and managers are too. Dean left to go to a bigger club, its just job where he believes he will improve his lot. He will join another set of fickle fans and players. Will he be able to mould these players into a team. He failed last year to do that. We were told wait till he gets his players and he proved he could get results. Yet now more fickle players that are not his, but he has a squad of 40 to choose from. So Dean lets see what you can do, but if you fail you have the experience to reduce budgets and put a team together to be one of the front runners in league one.

It's one way to succeed in this division. Whether it's the best, I'm not so sure. Ideally you'd want continuity in play, and that would mean maintaining a specific style of play over a long period of time, no matter what division - Swansea being the prime example.

Danny Wilson also identified this in the summer as he stated on radio deedar, so recruited players to help them. Experienced, big, combative players, just like we have.
Charlton did it last year, can't be argued with what he's done, its got the results

Rovers fans r most fickle group of fans in opt all league, you would think after what we've been through we would have more faith in JR's word. Next manager has my backing 100% as Saunders did this time last season.

are we fickle or is it passion? we all pay £££££ to watch a football team who we love so if we see something that we deem not good we state our opinions?
I love how Saunders has given us back our club, restored some belief and passion and renewed the desire to watch!! even though the football has left a lot to be desired hes still given us something to cheer!! will he succeed at Wolves I personally dont think so and if/when he fails I will probably smile...not because Im fickle but because I love Rovers and will look at it as yet someone else who thought they were better than our mighty club failing! if he succeeds I will smile that we had a manager that noone knew who was obviously better than we gave him credit for......

I don`t think he`ll be back for Bennett, I got the impression in his last interview that he was losing patience with him

I feel this may come back to bite Dean on his arse.  He would have been better having a promotion under his belt before leaving us.

I have never been a big fan of his, yes, he's built a good squad, but the football was just awful.

I can see a few Wolves fans getting frustrated with his style of 'play'.
