Compo 'minimal'
« on January 06, 2013, 09:21:42 pm by rhinoplod »
According to this tweet...
Quote
@TimNash1: Compensation agreed with #Doncaster for Saunders was minimal. Mal Purchase is a fitness coach but Tony Daley is well known to DS from Villa.

Surely this is ridiculous? Especially as the club statement talks of a 'good deal' having been done. Maybe a forum question for tomorrow?!

Maybe Wolves are expecting their fans to be a little underwhelmed by Deano's appointment and have to make out they got him for a 'minimal' amount

The tweet was from the Sports Editor at the Wolverhampton local rag. Speaking to their own audience I suspect.

I would dismiss this tweet out of hand, I know that we have been well looked after in this deal.

There are guidelines for this kind of thing and if I was to say that we have exceeded our expectations many times over and will continue to do so then you will appreciate that Gavin has pulled off a magnificent deal for DRFC.

This kind of acceptance of any news that is dressed up negatively does not help, we are a very well run club with some exceptional people at the helm, enjoy that!

As in Santa Claus??

Let's just say there are add-ons! And very beneficial ones. The original tweeter has no idea.

Just to clarify, we have an exceptional compensation fee along with some contractual benefits based on performance.
