Sky have listed potential candidates with the odds, can i have a tenner that its none of them!!!http://www.skybet.co.uk/football/specials/manager-specialshttp://http://www.skybet.co.uk/football/specials/manager-specials
Who TF is Micky Mellon, surely thats a made up name? Wasn't he the manager of Melchester Rovers? Let's bring Billy the Fish in as player manager.
Where the f*** did Carlton Palmers name come from?
Stan James have a more sensible set of prices:http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/doncaster-specials/next-permanent-manager
Let's just give the job to Rob Jones and be done with it so we can all lump on and make enough for next seasons ST's and maybe a holiday in Hawaii.
Lots of these seem to have done a trawl on these boards and listed ex-players like we have.Mark Wilson! Has he any coaching experience at all?
All relatively long odds still which is the bookies way of saying "We haven't got a clue". Names I'd be OK with... SOD (of course but we know it won't be him so irrelevant) Nicol, Snodin, Tisdale, Robins or ParkinsonPlease no.....Megson, Laws, Penney, Cotterill, Palmer (?), Dowie. The rest are either somehwere in between or I've never heard of them!
Stan James have a more sensible set of prices:This is a great link. The bookies clearly don't know what they are doing? With a bit of inside knowledge on this forum there is some money to be made surely? Every cloud.http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/doncaster-specials/next-permanent-manager
Stan James have made Coyle 5/1I just hope JR makes the same sort of aquisition as he has done previously.Im not able to go to the match Saturday, but i damn wish i could! Rob Jones will be electric! if that doesnt knit the team spirit together, nothing will!
I didnt mean it like that Hoola, as i agree they seem a tight bunch.More that in these times it can go one of two ways, however i dont think that morale could be any better than with Jones taking the reign.it was a positive comment, not me trying to be negative and look for cracks.Im quite worried who will be the next manager, i dont think ''I'' will be as happy as i have been with the last two.therfore id sooner see Jones keep it together than risk fracturing what we already have.
Paul Goodwin @paulgoodwinDFPRovers have confirmed to me it is in fact Brian Flynn assisted by Rob Jones. Dean was under the impression the Corporal was to take charge.
