He wouldn't be my preferred choice, but I'd back him all the same if he was to be appointed.

Doing a quick Google search on him - he seems to have been given quite a few touchline bans.

I know he was alright as a player but know nowt about him as a manager. Is it possible that he's just the first candidate to be interviewed, and so that's why the odds have shortened?

Once again, I imagine Lomas' odds are very short because he's the only candidate who's been interviewed so far. When others arrive at the KMS and rumours start circulating the odds will even out. I doubt we've been through 7 candidates by 1pm. If the whole process was going to be over that quick we needn't even bother with a shortlist, or interviewing anyone at all. We certainly wouldn't be wasting time letting Flynn and Jones manage on Saturday if we already knew for sure it was Lomas.
