For me John Ryan probably wouldn't want a stand named after himself so it would need to be the 4 most respected figures in Rovers history.
Albert Jenkins for me as founder would be an absolute must.
Francis Tierney for obvious reasons
Alick Jeffrey (before my time but a favourite with fans including JR)
my final pick would be any one from 3 Whoever the player with most games to his name is (Colin Douglas?) to be changed if anyone passes his total/ Harry Gregg (behind goals home end maybe) or Peter Doherty arguably Doncaster's most successful manager. Some would say SOD but this I think would be too soon. Our highest league finish was 7th in second tier in in 1901 season but not sure who was manager then. So what do people think. Clearly if we are naming bars these should be after other people with stands being the main honour. We could even invite Tierney and Douglas for a presentation.

I think the stands have sponsor names..

I would definitely have a John Ryan stand, and a Billy Bremner...

I asked this a while ago but here goes - could we not have the sponsor name along with a legend's name? for example, the Polypipe Francis Tierney stand. Could even do a raffle type thing with the names in buckets for it to earn a few quid.
