Wasn't a certain Mr. Brian Flynn our Chief Scout when we signed Mr. Fowler?

Dean wanted him cos of his connection with him at Wrexham I think it was, and Fowler the same reason. Dean's like a mentor to him, he said - or something like that.

Please dont call him fat, its not very nice.

I would use the term as Fowler being overly plump.

A good move in my opinion.

I've not been that impressed with him and it always seemed an odd signing to me. L1 is above his standard.

A sort of poor man's Gary Brabin.....

Not been impressed by him despite some people thinking he is the next Brian Stock which he definitely isn't at the moment. Good move for all concerned.

A better move would have been not to sign him in the first place.

He is. He took his shirt off after one away game when he was getting stick. It must be the hoops!!!
The picture in hoops in the article saying he is going on loan shows a different physique to the one in a white shirt against Crawley. He may be a player who needs to play regular to maintain or improve his fitness(weight), he is not going to get that here. He is not a league one player and his and Sinclair signings appear not to have worked. But when you are scratching around for players to fit with in a budget you will not always be successful.

Well Forest Green have gone all green haven't they with the chairman pioneering vegetarian food for fans and players alike, so he's gone to the right place!

Fowler got on as second half sub for FGR tonight, in their 2-0 away defeat, so at least is getting some exercise.

I think he will only be recalled if we have another batch of injuries. While the Everton lad is here, Fowler might as well be off the wage bill and playing games.

BF said Fowler had requested to go out on loan. He wasn't sent out.
