Centre Back

I'm new to the forum and I was thinking does anyone else think we should think about getting a centre back in for cover seen as though we've only got Wakefield?

If we've got anything spare.

Not a massive priority though as Quinn can play there as can Spurr and Griffin will be back soonish so we'll then have him and Hubby for fullback cover.

Striker or keeper for me now.

Can't Keegan play there at a push as well? Think we have other priorities, the defence hasn't been a priority all season.

No need there for me with Spurr or Quinn being able to play there with husband or griffin playing LB and syers or keegan RB although would miss them in the middle.

Wouldn't be surprised. Syers can play anywhere too.

I see what he means about cover though, but then I can't see the indestructible Rob Jones getting anything serious or us being without the others I mention with only 12 to go.

Only worry I suppose is if Jones gets a 2 game ban, which he probably will as I think he's two bookings away.

Keegans on 9 yellows I think, could be important for the run in if he gets a suspension.

Plus with Martis off the wage bill, we could have a few sheckles to spend on a loan player's wages (but I think we should save that for an emergency).

Is Griffin still about? With Griffin and Husband in the squad we have 4 good options at centre back in Jones, McCombe, Spurr and Quinn as well as Wakefield.

Speaking of people who are still about... Robbie Blake? Where is he? Or did he finally crumble into dust like him off the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?
