Flynn said he was looking at Sulli coming back and reading into how that was said, its preparing an option if Woods isn't fit. Could be that he would be sub with Maxted first choice, maybe the other way round.

Flynn must have a lot of faith in Maxted.

Would he be worse than what we currently have? I think not, he has loads of experience & safe hands with crosses, plus would have a steadying influence, it's obvious we aren't going to remedy the problem we have had for the last 2 years or so, so give him the shirt for me.

Don't think he could be much worse than Woods at the moment. Woods at his best isn't much better than Sully now, never mind when he's in appalling form AND half-fit. As long as the defence is as solid as they have been and they don't have Sullivan scrambling about every 2 minutes I think he'll cope alright. Won't be the quickest off his line but at least he can catch a ball. Get someone else to take the goal kicks though.

how on earth has woods got injured, fell down the stairs? cos he sure hasnt done anything that would attract an injury on the pitch, unless its repetetive strain injury from bending down to pick the ball out of the back of the net.

That's probably one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Sully isn't that bad at all!
