Great for Jamie and a Rovers fan as well, lets hope he brings the world title to Doncaster, I wonder what the quality of the under card is?

Lets all go and fill the stadium and support a local hero. I'll be there and work colleagues are already planning a night out. A championship football team and a Doncaster world champion. It just doesn't get any better..

How about a premiership football team and 2 world champions? That's a little bit better. :boxing:

My good lady wife loves 'Bake Off', 'Miranda' and sh*te like that, and wouldn't miss her WI meetings for anything - I have tried & failed miserably to get her to the KMS to watch Rovers! One sniff of seeing 2 half naked blokes knocking lumps off each other and she's excited about seeing where I spend every other saturday in the winter! Typical!

We'll both definitely be there! - fantastic event for Donny & great business for the club!!

Hopefully enough to pay for a new pitch after 20,000 folk have trampled all over it.   ;)

The ring is to be set up towards the north stand with a barrier across half way to create a u shape crowd

Wonder if some form of temporary roof will be set up

I'd assume it would be North and half the East/West?

Massive well done to Gavin and the team for pulling this off.

Excellent fight to be staging at the KM. Great for the area, good for the sport, and better for the club. A venue like the KM is a great place to have boxing. I hope this is the first of many.

Excellent first post Shaun! Welcome the the forum.

You've set the standard now so make sure your next post is more good news!

Great stuff indeed and it's great to see the Keepmoat fulfilling more of it's potential and becoming the hub of the community.

Just make sure Jamie walks in to the ring with a red and white hooped dressing gown !!!! We're going global.

Good idea.
Any chance of designing some boxing shorts red with white fancy tassles and the viking badge on the front.

Come on jamie, it will look mint.

Excellent work this. About 6 of us already signed up to go. I just hope it's not a late one to cater for the Americano's. Although I don't think he's a name over there yet. Me thinks he will be SkySports 1, 9-10pm prime slot.

Well done DRFC, now if you could get the World Stare-Out Championships, that would be proper ace. To see Ted 'The Head' McStead would be a dream come true.

Agreed Cussy.  I'll be there to see Jamie triumph, and if they get the World Stare-out Championships too, well that would be awesome.

I like Danny "Dead Eyes" Eyre best.  Great eyelash control, and the little smirk to put his opponents off is a masterstroke.
