Scunny official site is still saying 12 noon inspection.  Nothing about game on on their FB page either, though pitch looks clear.

Like I posted earlier, we had an announcement from our official sources about a game being deffo on, not so long ago, only for it to be called off an hour later

I'll bet you anything this game doesn't go ahead. I've got two - three foot of snow outside my front door (OK, I live up a mountain), but if the snow has the potential to dump like that today across your way the coppers won't be letting anything go ahead.

I'm guessing the ref has turned up earlier than expected, had a look and decided it is OK. They may still do a formal inspection at 12 though.

The major concern is further snowfall now.

Where I live near Birmingham there's no way the game would be going ahead (in fact my local club, Solihull Moors, had their game called off early this morning). However, you can't really judge what it is like from one area to another.

It was playable when I was there. Despite being slushy the grass was soft and not slippery. Im confident the game will go ahead but not doing anything untill after 12.

Correct, I was working last night and the difference in snowfall within a couple of miles was astonishing, up until 11pm last night there was about 2-3 inches of snow at Tesco in Edenthorpe yet a couple of mile down the road in Dunsville there was n`t any snow lying on the ground, it all changed after that mind!

Personally, I'm not convinced. Surely its a Blades conspiracy just playing with our heads.
